The economic situation of the municipality:
The Municipality has no credit. We support the Pereszteg Medical Clinic. We also support the GP service and the mobile library service is financed from our own resources. We finance the maintenance of our road network from municipal revenues. We also support the Sakony Volunteer Fire Brigade Association. We operate a lean economy, with a business tax rate of 0%. The recent development of the village is due to the Hungarian Village Programme.
